Founding Story & How We Work
Harrow & Finch began after our founder spent years watching small businesses hand over good money for websites built from the same recycled template as everyone else, then left to figure out updates on their own. It seemed like there had to be a better way to run a small design studio.
So the studio was built around a simple idea: one named designer per project, a fixed price agreed in writing before anything is built, and every site checked on real devices before it is handed over. We work directly with each client rather than through layers of account managers.
Pricing is quoted plainly with no hidden extras, work is delivered on the schedule we agree at the start, and we remain reachable once the site is live. It is a straightforward way of working, and it is the one we would want if we were the client.
How We Keep Standards Up
Every site is opened on several screen sizes before it goes live, and a second person on the team looks over the build before handover. We keep a short written record of what was agreed at quote stage, so nothing gets missed between the brief and the finished site.
